We managed to get our tickets at half price since it was the low season (February), otherwise it can be quite expensive. Tours are offered in English, Spanish, and Catalan. The guide for the English tour had a strong accent, making it difficult to understand if you aren’t fluent in English. The house is stunning, intricately designed and well preserved. The tour was interesting, and the guide was knowledgeable when we had questions.

It was truly fascinating to learn about this beautifully designed home and the story of a chocolate maker and his daughter. I believe I learned much more than I anticipated as we had to listen to all the stories and couldn't leave the group due to staff supervision. I would have enjoyed it more if I could freely explore and focus on the parts that intrigued me. However, I understand that the home retains its original furniture, and they want to protect it. We also had to wear little 'socks' over our shoes.

This house is a marvel crafted by a renowned architect who was a contemporary of Gaudi. Mr. Amatller was not only a chocolate maker but also lived here with his daughter. The house is intelligently built and aesthetically designed, which is a true visual delight. The visits are very well organized. Before entering, you receive audio guides and an employee accompanies you to different areas, operating the audio guide so you can hear the relevant information.

I'm referring to the chocolate shop and bakery located on the ground floor of Casa Amatller, which is as magical as the house itself. Everything is artistically done and perfectly represents the building's style. We had the hot chocolate, and it was simply amazing, rich, and flavorful.
