A small exhibition showcasing the lifestyle of a wealthy couple in Amsterdam during the nineteenth century. While there was not much to see, it was enjoyable to explore. I found the architecture of the building and the outdoor garden more captivating than the displayed artifacts.

It is fascinating to see how the wealthy of the past lived! Definitely worth visiting to explore one of the stunning houses on Herengrachtstraat in Amsterdam, which is known as the richest area of the city. Don't forget to take advantage of the free audio tour.

A charming small museum that portrays the living conditions of a wealthy family in Amsterdam's canal houses during the 19th century. The audio tour was excellent and much appreciated, especially since the room lighting was too dim for reading text. The entire experience can be completed in under 2 hours, making it a great choice for a quick visit. The Museumkaart is accepted here.

It's quite nice. The museum is small, yet pleasant. Although I found the modern rooms showcasing the recent era quite unappealing, the old rooms depicting how the previous occupants lived are stunning. The garden is exceptionally well-maintained. The building itself is impressive.

A small but gorgeous museum of a canal house. It's informative and not overcrowded. A lovely way to spend an hour while exploring Amsterdam.
